Consistency
Consistency is key to building and maintaining a creative practice. By establishing a regular routine, you ensure steady progress and continual improvement
Daily Posting Strategy: Posting one picture every day can help you build a routine and keep your audience engaged. However, pace yourself to avoid burnout.
Avoid Posting Too Much Too Soon: In the beginning, it’s tempting to share all your work at once. Resist the urge to post excessively, as this can lead to burnout and creative block.
Plan Your Content
Get a few solid images ready, so you'll have a couple days worth of content. While posting these, create more art ahead of time to stay consistent.
○ This approach ensures you always have content ready to go.
○ This allows you time to experiment with new ideas and refine your images without the pressure of daily deadlines.
Inspiration
There is No Consistency Without Constant Inspiration
In the world of creative endeavors, inspiration can sometimes be elusive, and creator's block can hinder our ability to bring our visions to life. The key to staying consistent lies in finding a continuous stream of inspiration
Here are some ways to stay inspired:
Follow Creators You Admire: Seeing their regular updates can ignite your own creativity and provide fresh ideas. Analyze what specifically draws you to their work. Is it their color palette, composition, subject matter, or technique? Understanding what appeals to you can help you integrate similar elements into your own work
Everyday Surroundings: Look closely at the details in your environment—architecture, nature, people, and objects. Everyday scenes can become the foundation for unique artistic ideas. Use the colors and moods from your surroundings to guide the aesthetic of your artwork. For instance, the warm hues of a sunset or the cool tones of a rainy day can set the emotional tone of your piece.
Additional Tips
Midjourney Feed:
The midjourney feed offers a vast collection of public images posted daily by users, providing a rich source of inspiration and insight into different styles and techniques. By browsing the feed, you can discover various images, analyze the prompts used to create them, and learn from the creative approaches of others. The search function allows you to filter images by type, style, elements, and colors, making it easier to find visuals that resonate with you.
Using Base styles:
Studio Ghibli, under the creative guidance of Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, is known for its distinctive animation style, storytelling, and visual aesthetics. Studio Ghibli films are characterized by lush, hand-drawn animation that emphasizes natural landscapes, intricate details, and expressive character designs. The animation is often fluid and rich in textures, capturing both the beauty and complexity of the environments portrayed.
Majority of my work draws strong inspiration from Studio Ghibli. I will then often incorporate subtle influences from artists and art styles similar to Ghibli into my creations. This approach allows for diverse perspectives and unexpected outcomes.
